Q&A with Dennis Stinchcombe MBE
What a treat to go down to Broad Plain and Riverside Boxing Club again 🥊 It was worth the trip just to enter the Aladdin’s Cave of Boxing memorabilia, and to watch some questionable punches thrown by the group… But what brought us all together was Dennis Stinchcombe MBE, director of the club, as he spoke about his extraordinary life. From humble beginnings in 1974 to present day, the club has given thousands of kids the foundation they need to thrive in life. Over the past 49 years, Dennis has worked hard at keeping the club doors open so that every child is offered the best possible start, no matter what their circumstance. Thank you Dennis for continuing to be such an inspirational, important pillar of our community 🙏
