After the Walk we will settle into our seats to listen to our Brilliant guest speaker, Neal Radford.
Neal, Former Worcestershire and England Cricketer known for his brisk seam and swing pace bowling. Originally, born and educated in Zambia, then moved over to England in 1980 to search for better opportunities. In 1985 Radford joined Worcestershire CC was where he shined, resulting him getting an England call up in 1986, after qualifying to play for England by residence.
Newport was a integral part of the resurgent Worcestershire side of the late 1980s, which earnt him a England test call up in 1986 and an ODI call up in 1988. Neal’s career statistics are most impressive, taking over 1,400 wickets across all formats of the game, including best figures of 9-70.
